Sarah became a Governor in September 2017. She has 16 years experience of working for a charity with an education focus and is currently project manager for their international programmes. Working with global partners, such as the British Council, the European Commission, Nike and Ministries of Youth and Sport, on numerous projects which use sport and physical activity to raise attainment and develop life skills in young people.
Through her work, Sarah has supported circa 300 UK schools with their international school partnerships across 20 different countries through the International Inspiration programme (a London Olympic and Paralymic legacy project) and prior to this approximately 200 schools through the Dreams and Teams programme in Africa. More recently she has developed working relationships with European organisations and is currently working with partners in the Middle East to support the next generation of young people.
Sarah is a local resident and a parent. She has a keen interest in the role of education in a child's development and hopes to support Newcroft in providing a positive experience for all pupils.
