In assembly the children took part in a vote to see if they knew how to stay safe online. Miss Veazey counted and verified the results and 96% of our children voted yes, they know how to stay safe online. The children will continue to learn about online safety next week as we take part in Safer Internet Day 2020. We are hoping this will mean 100% of our children to know how to stay safe online in the future.
For more information about Safer Internet Day, visit their website below which has lots of resources for parents and caters. The resources will help you to talk to your child about online safety this Safer Internet Day. The pack includes activities, conversation starters and information to help parents and carers talk to their children about how to navigate the issue of online identity in a digital age in a safe, responsible and respectful way.
