What a wonderful day of reading, dancing and drawing we had! Our theme was 'Little People, Big Dreams,' celebrating a range of inspirational people past and present. We had many mini Coco Chanels, lots of David Attenboroughs, including our very own Reception team, and several Florence Nightingales.
Our day started by drawing our inspirational people around school, including teachers, support staff, PE staff, kitchen staff, office staff and our very own premise office - Mr Robinson. All classes then attended a different workshop with dance expert, Louise Jaggard, from JumpStart. There was different themes for each year group, including a street dance style workshop in the theme of Jamaica's Usain Bolt, which the children loved.
We had a best dressed competition and 5 lucky winners received a £5 voucher to spend at our book fair coming up. The winners were Arthur (Reception), Matilda (Y1), Hannah (Y3), Aishika (Y5) and Matilda (Y6). Mr Wait won best dressed member of staff with his impressive Elvis outfit.
Thank you to parents and carers for supporting with costumes; all the children looked FANTASTIC!
Bring on World Book Day 2025!
