Mrs Cran and Mrs Lloyd are looking forward an exciting end to the academic year. Our topic for the last half term is 'Pirates Ahoy!' We will have lots of fun going on our own treasure hunt in our outdoor area.
We are working very hard with phonics and reading. Don't forget, children are expected to practice their phonics and reading at least three times per week as part of their homework. Books can also be read online through 'Bug Club'. This term we are having a big focus on writing in sentences to prepare ready for Year 1.
Maths we are continuing with lots of counting and looking for numerical patterns and we are focussing on number bonds to 10.
As the weather is improving, our PE sessions (Thursdays) will take place outside. Your child will need appropriate footwear (ideally velcro fastening trainers - no laces please) and jogging bottoms if possible. Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly named.
