Summer Term 1

Welcome back!

We are so proud of each and every one of the children for working so hard from home. It is lovely to have you all in back in school and you contine to work incredibly hard - well done Year 2!

Curriculum

This term our topic is called 'Rumble in the Jungle'. We will be doing lots of work about the rainforests around the world and the animlas that live in them. We will be looking at the habitats and food chains in the rainforests. We will be linking our topic to our Science topic this half term which is plants. We are looking forward to doing some Art again and making jungle pictures.

PE days

We ask that parents ensure that PE kit is in school all week and sent home as required for washing through the term and at the end of a half term. A reminder that as the weather gets colder, we ask that parents send their child with a warm jumper and jogging bottoms for outdoor PE sessions.
