Please be assured that although our Childrens' return to school will be very different, we endeavor to keep the school day as normal as we can. We aim to create our usual nurturing and friendly school environment while having high expectations and standards. We will focus our curriculum on missed learning,' gap filling' and PSHE and mental health in the first half term of the year.
Our plans have been informed by the DFE's Guidance for School Opening. Please find a parent friendly version here.
For some of our children and families, they will have worries about returning to school. We will do all we can to support our children to get back into their normal routines. We will be spending a lot of time working on 'learning to learn' through our transition lessons, character education and PSHE.
All teachers have designed some simple home learning tasks to support children in keeping up to date with Reading, Writing and Maths over the summer break.
