Ofsted Report

We are extremely proud to finally be able to share with you the outcome and report from our recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 13th and 14th May 2025.

The visit was a full graded inspection. Three inspectors visited the school over two days and investigated all aspects of our provision. It was a rigorous process: the inspection team observed lessons, studied data, met with school leaders, subject leaders and spoke with pupils, staff and governors, as well as Trust representatives and drew on feedback from parents.

Since September 2024, Ofsted no longer awards single graded judgments to schools, but grades different areas following the Education Inspection Framework. We now receive a collection of 5 grades.

We are pleased to share that we have achieved what very few schools do, and have been graded outstanding in all areas, as well as receiving no areas for improvement from inspectors:

Personal Development – Outstanding

Leadership and Management – Outstanding

Early Years Provision – Outstanding

As you can imagine, we are beyond thrilled to finally be able to share this fantastic news with our parents, carers and pupils and the wider community.

The report is wonderfully written and gives a real feel for the experience of the children at Newcroft every day.
