This half term our topic is 'Amazing Animals'. We learn all about different types of animals including fish, mammals and amphibians. We will continue with our animal focus in English, writing instructions on how to clean a fish tank and writing a letter to the tiger, asking him to come back again for tea.
We will also be working hard learning lots of songs for our Christmas Carol Service at St.Botolphs Church!
This half term we will focus on invasion games, gymnastics and dance.
Mrs Lloyd's class have PE on Thursday and Friday.
Miss Brailsford's class PE on Tuesday and Thursday.
Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school every day.
The children have homework set weekly for reading and spelling. This homework is set on a Monday and will be due the following Monday. All homework will be in home school diaires and sent via WEDUC.
We encourage the children to read at least 3 times weekly, as part of our Regular Readers competition, as well as learning their weekly spellings. Weekly spellings will be tested on a Monday.
We also encourage children to play on Numbots each week to support Maths progress.
A creative task will also be set each half term.
