Safeguarding is at the centre of all we do at Newcroft. Safeguarding our children is the responsibility of all staff in our school.
We are proud to work successfully in partnership with families and professional services to support our pupils.
Our comprehensive safeguarding policy is available in our policies tab. This is supported by our Low Level Concerns policy, anti bullying policy, E- Safety policy, behaviour , Relationships and Sex Education and Designated Teacher for Looked After Children policies. These can also found in the policies tab.
Our school is part of Operation Encompass. This is a police and education early intervention safeguarding partnership which supports children and young people who experience Domestic Abuse.
You can find out more about PREVENT here and how we support parents.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leader is Mrs Sara Aukland, Head teacher. Mrs Aukland is also the Prevent leader for the school.
Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding leader is Miss Charlotte Kruger, Deputy Head teacher.
Should parents or members of the public have any concerns or worries about a pupil in our school, please get in touch with Mrs Aukland via the office.
